Fabric Composition

While many generic sports or racquet-saver tapes use a woven fabric cloth backing, official Adidas racket protector tapes are strictly made from 100% high-quality polyurethane (PU) or thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU). Adidas deliberately avoids fabric construction to ensure the tape achieves absolute waterproofing, high impact absorption, and a long-lasting defense against rough court surfaces.
